Tight, dry skin easily blocks acne bacteria, germs, and dirt in its small pores. Because the pores are small and drying out the skin makes them even smaller. It causes inflammation on entire pore, creating more small red acne.

Your skin depends on its lipid layer to keep out the bacteria, viruses, and fungi, and maintain healthy skin cell. When your skin becomes dry, the skin performance on maintaining skin is limited which results in causing skin cells on the surface of the skin. it easily becomes irritated and inflamed, forming acne.
